Born Under A Lunar Eclipse, Singer Wayne Wonder Is 'Never Letting Go' Of The Music

Wayne Wonder is a veteran dancehall singer who has been performing for almost 30 years. Encouraged by legendary musicians like Sly Dunbar and King Tubby, he garnered much success with Penthouse records during the 1990s. Closely aligned with producer Dave Kelly early in his career, he recorded many winning combination songs with Buju Banton.

In later years he had quite a bit of success on faster-paced dancehall tracks like the Diwali Riddim with "No Letting Go,” and even ventured into smooth R&B crossover hits. One thing for sure, no one injects as much finesse and excitement into their music as Wayne Wonder, and that’s why he is still considered one of Jamaica's favorite crooners.
Wayne Wonder's Astrological Chart
Wayne Wonder was born on the day of a lunar eclipse, July 26, 1972. At the same time the planet Neptune closely interacted with the sun and moon. This combination points to a deeply sensitive artist, who expresses his feelings through his music because he lives from his heart. He is extremely creative, intuitive and highly imaginative; therefore, he easily transitions from one style of music to another. A sincerely humble man, whose depth of feeling reverberates through his art so that he touches people to the core with his expressive voice and soulful style.
