Drummer Sly Dunbar Makes An Impact With Pluto

Born May 10, 1952, drummer Sly Dunbar is one of the most accomplished drummers to ever come out of Jamaica. Along with bassist Robbie Shakespeare, this musical duo created some of the most memorable reggae rhythms over the past 40 years.
After launching their own Taxi label in 1980, they rose to international prominence with their musical genius. From Black Uhuru to Beenie Man, they have helped to compose the rhythm section for many of Jamaica's most notable artists, and have made guest appearances at recording sessions for rock giants such as The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan.
